I know this doesn't have anything to do with computers and technology, but it's something that I'm sure is bothering a lot of you right now...I know it's bothering ME
So it's the month of April, and everyone's probably sniffling because of a cold or terrible allergies. Personally, I don't have allergies, but I do have a very bad cold right now. I know a stuffy nose can be the most annoying thing EVER, so guys..here are some things that can help with your little problem:)
Direction: Perform 3 sets of each and return to it 10 minutes later to cure it permanently by doing it 2 more times. HERE IS A PICTURE OF THE POINTS YOU MUST MASSAGE FROM STEPS 1-4!
1. Perform 10 circular pressures on a cavity at the corner of the nostrils (point 1).
2. Perform 10 circular pressures on a cavity just below the corner of the eyes near the nose (point 2).
3. Perform 10 circular pressures on a cavity just below the ear, behind the earlobe (point 3).
4. Massage the earlobe 10 times (point 4).
Tell me if this works you guys!
Now, if all else fails, try anything from VICKS.
-VapoDrops (to relieve sore throat and cough temporarily) ->I personally use this one because it is in a small package and I can carry it around. It is also very cheap ($1 in NYC)
-NyQuil Cold and Flu Relief
-DayQuil
-Sinex VapoSpray Moisturizing 12-Hour Decongestant UltraFine Mist
-Any sort of humidifier
You can also try placing your nostrils above steaming water, or taking a hot shower with lots of steam! <-this one works for sure, but it's also only temporary. ):

| I tried it - it did nothing for me personally, but that doesn't mean it won't work for other people. I have a stuffy nose right now, but it's not from allergies - I have a cold :(. What I do is just plain and simple wait it out, stay warm, and drink water. Always works :) |

Never heard of this one before, I was always told that to clear a stuffy nose you focus your attention there and not the ear lobes :P.
For real immediate relief of a stuffy nose:
- Use Vicks Vapo Rub or Noxzema under the nose.
For eventual relief of allergy stuffiness use an anti-histamine like Benadryl, Claritin, Reactin, Tylenol Allergy and Sinus, or Nasonex. For a cold, use the typical Nyquil, Triaminic, Robitussin, Vicks 44, or the worst tasting of them all Buckley's (blech). |
